God's vision has never been confined to a single person or a single city. From the very beginning, His heart has been for every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. This is why He says, "Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance."
Prayer is the mechanism through which we take hold of what God has already promised. Nations change not primarily through politics or economics, but through the prayers of righteous people who have laid claim to God's promises.
Your Role in the Nations
You may never travel to every nation, but your prayers can. When you intercede for a nation, you are extending God's kingdom into a territory that may have no other advocate before His throne.
Choose one nation to pray for this week. Research its spiritual condition, its leadership, and its needs. Then pray with authority and expectation.
